Things I can’t do

I met the man in some dreary, dismal neighborhood.

A man who spewed vulgar curses at all hours and even barged into my home.
After the death of my common-law partner, all that was left for Seon-jae was the child we had together. For that child’s sake, I ended up in an unfamiliar place, but my already shaky life was completely upended when I met this man.

“I wish you’d suck on this for me.”

The man had no shame, no conscience, not even the barest shred of decency.
What could you do with a man like that?
The things you can’t do.

With this man, there are far too many of those.
